About the FGCA

Our constitution and by-laws

"All members of the FGCA shall sincerely cooperate in promoting the conservation, restoration and sustainable use of the genetic base of the forest and shall place their duty to the forest above all other duties pertinent to the forest."

In April 1997 we became a not-for-profit corporation, with a new constitution & bylaws. We are one of three regional associations under the provincial organization, Forest Genetics Ontario (FGO). Our geographic focus is southcentral Ontario and our members include organizations and individuals that are involved in the forest industry, government and forest conservation.
